"Just Jack"

Did anyone used to watch Will & Grace?  (Hence the phrase "Just Jack")....I probably shouldn't refer that to my son... so anyways... Life with Jack keeps getting better and better- he's a little terror these days, but an absolutely adorable little terror.  He is still as wiggly as ever, and he is so easy to giggle- just jump up and down or sneeze and you've got him going.  Here are a few pics of our little monster.

*Jack is trying to get into the bathroom...I was actually going by myself for once

*Dr. Evil impression

*his 'funny' face

*So big!

*My two boys at Del Mar beach

*Doing what Daddy does best....playing!

*Getting into anything and everything!

*Scurrying away from the scene of the crime

And now for some bad news..... clumsy me dropped our nikon on the asphalt....yes, right in time for Halloween.  Perfect.  Good thing we bought the accidental insurance coverage, b/c I do have a history with this sort of thing.

4th Annual Fall Party!

I had to keep tradition alive and continue our fall party complete with chili, cornbread, and pumpkin carving.  Unfortunately, we didn't have a judge this year, so we'll just chalk it up as a 4-way tie....unless you all want to be judge.  Whose do you like the best?

*very intense moment*

*"Pumpkin Patch"

Anyways, we had a blast and missed the Tanners who were at the last fall party with us (Jake was sick- hope he's feeling better!) Thanks to everyone for coming and for bringing food!

...until next time....

Pumpkin Patch (or so it was called...) and more

Last night we went with Ty, Kathy and Landon to the Del Mar Pumpkin Patch.  Call me old fashioned  (or East Coast) but I was expecting to pick my pumpkin off of the vine....not lined up in rows underneath a tent.  Despite its lack-luster draw, we had a good time with the fam and got some cute pics out of it.

*This was the best picture we could get....Jack was getting antsy...

*Jack chasing Landon...he can't wait to be able to do all the things that Lando does!

Here are some PJ's that his Aunt Hannah gave to him.....he finally fits into them- they are our favorite!

*he is such a little ninja in them!

Watching football with Dad....
...and then getting tickle tortured by him....

What a devilish little grin....

And then there's this face....
...I just can't get enough of this little guy

Fabulous Fall

Amidst this massive heat wave and the 85+ degree weather, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate my favorite season!

1. As much as I love Southern California, this time of year always makes me miss the fall foliage of the East Coast.

2...and with that comes playing in the leaves (how much do you wish you were this little boy!?)

3. Decorating for fall and Halloween

4. Going to the pumpkin patch/on hay rides (I make Derek go every year no matter where we are).

5.  Chili, carmel popcorn and Starbucks Carmel Apple Cider!

6. Warm sweaters, coats, and accessories.

7. And of course, Halloween!

*I stole this pic from my Mom's blog

I hope you all take the time to enjoy this festive season!  Have a fabulous fall!
