After a week of pool time, beach time, adventure, sun and family, I certainly miss being on vacation and being around everybody. It was such a fun trip to have everyone together - the first time since my little brother's mission. Jack was such a trooper and always had a smile on his face (and he even got his bottom two teeth in while we were there!!!) The resort was awesome so we spent a lot of time by the pool and taking advantage of the volleyball, tennis, gym, etc...
Jack loved all the attention he got from his cousins....except I don't know who was on the defensive more- Jack from his loving cousins, or his cousins from Jack's hair pulling trick. I may be biased, but I think we have the cutest little cousins...and so fun to play with!
This was at dinner our first night. It was pouring rain that night- Costa Rica has the most amazing thunder storms!!
By far my favorite thing on the trip was the zip-line tour. It was one of the funnest things I've ever done....who wouldn't want to feel like a monkey swinging through the trees? Thanks to Mom who stayed behind with Jack....we owe you big time!
One day we went into Manuel Antonio Rainforest and Park. It was so fun to hike and see the monkeys so up close and personal!! We also hung out at the beautiful white sand beaches where we ate lunch and played in the water....I couldn't believe how warm the water was- it seriously felt like bath water!
While down there, we all brought a bunch of clothing, shoes, sheets, towels, school supplies and toiletries to donate to a local orphanage. Us girls stayed behind with the little ones while the boys went and met with these beautiful children. What a great experience it was for them.
We had such a great time and miss everybody already......round 2 anyone???

It looks like you had a blast! I kept thinking that where you were looked familiar and sure enough I also went to Manuel Antonio! We miss you, Derek and Jack! I cannot believe how big he is getting! Hope all is well, call me so we can catch up! XOXO
