She is a mother to four boys and one girl (including my Dad of course), graduated Magma kum laude from the U of U, was involved in the youth program most of her married life (which I think kept her so young), always went above and beyond anything she was asked to do (whether it be a school flyer or as girl's camp director), tied the tightest french braid (I had the tears to prove it), painted some fantastic faces at Halloween, made 'shush' infamous, survived many trips to the hospital on account of all of her kids (many of which were on vacations), endured a bratty teenage girl who is now her best friend, survived a house burning to the ground (after which living in 7 houses in 5 years), lived through some wacky fashion periods (living in Texas in the 80s did wonders for her hair!), was always willing to try anything at least once (mostly due to the encouragement of my dad), made sure that we all made it to sports practices, games, dance classes and recitals, piano lessons, and friends houses all while looking put together, kept a beautiful home, always left sweet notes on our pillows (and still mails sweet notes with a little something extra), always encouraged us and reassured us, was a spiritual giant, always has a smile on her face and always loved us for who we were. Thanks Mom for setting the bar so high...I hope to achieve all that you have!

Of course you must know that I cried while reading your sweet comments. And if you were ever bratty, I cannot remember it (very well). As I said before, my family is my reward and you are each my Mothers Day tribute. I love you.
Well said Britt. She certainly did set the bar high and I'm thankful for her example. You are sure to be as wonderful a mommy. Someday Jack will be writing a similar list about you.
You look so much like your mom!`
I agree with Chelsea! My gosh in that picture by the fireplace you look identical! What an awesome tribute! I should have done this for my mom, what a great idea. I bet she loved it! Such a good daughter you are! Happy Mother's Day Britt!
HAHA! I LOVE that picture of all of you on the boat! That is such a great one! Are you going home at all this summer? Hopefully I'll be able to see you at some point.
