Update

It's been awhile since the last post, so just wanted to give the haps for the last little bit.

We have had lots of visits from Derek's family, so we've spent quite a bit of time up in SAn Clemente playing around. When John and Scott were here, we went to Newprt Harbor, rented a boat to drive in the harbor, and went on the Ferris Wheel (mine and Jack's first time!) The ferris wheel was fun.....the first 5 rotations, but it went about 5 times too long....Jack enjoyed himself though.

I'm now 8 months pregnant and getting closer to having 2 boys! We're getting really excited, especially after seeing pictures of my new niece Zooey Bills, Hannah and Shane's little girl, making them a party of 5. We can't wait to meet her and smother her with kisses.....and give her a little cousin buddy as a partner in crime!

Last week, Jack and I went to check out Leo Carrillo Ranch, which is right by our house. It's considered a historical landmark, dating back to 1933 when Leo Carillo aquired the land and began building. It is filled with beautiful western style homes, stables, a cantina, and flowers. The neatest part is the wandering peacocks (atleast 2 dozen) that just roam the grounds and make lots of noise. We enjoyed walking the paths, being out in nature, and spying on the peacocks. Definitely worth visiting if you have the time...plus it's free!

Mother's Day came and went, Jack and Derek definitely spoiled me! They made me breakfast, got me flowers and cards, and even a small point and shoot camera to carry in my purse (our old one broke a few years back and I've been dying to replace it!). We went and looked at model homes (one of my favorite Sunday activities) and enjoyed a nice church meeting. We then had Bill, Nina and Jeff over for a Mother's Day BBQ and hang out. It was a perfect day, and I loved hanging out with my two favorite people!
