A week ago we got back from the OBX, the beaches of North Carolina. My family grew up vacationing there in the summer time (for 12 years straight) and we haven't been back in 5 years. Not even the back to back overnight flight and 4 1/2 drive could take my excitement away-and the trip lived up to every expectation! It's taken us a while to get back into the groove of working and reality after having so much fun with the family! It seems as though I get most homesick right after a trip because I am reminded of how much fun our family has together- and how far away we live from everybody. Needless to say, we took full advantage of the much needed vacation and did not waste a minute: surfing, 'tube riding', running, walks, sand castles, swimming, playing tennis, playing games, go-kart riding, shopping, getting tattoos, and just hanging out. You'd think that I'd want to sleep in on vacation, but I would get so excited to play with our little nephews and niece and didn't ever want to miss out- that I woke up when they did. So here are a few pictures from our fun trip! I hope you enjoy them!
