'Tis the Season

I LOVE Christmas!! I love all of the fun decorations I get to put up, the treats I get to make and receive, the music, the lights, the parties and the hectic Holiday shopping.

Seeing as though I am due a short 13 days from today, Derek and I will be spending Christmas in Northern California. It will be our first Christmas by ourselves, but we have been making the most of it. We started things off by getting a Christmas Tree (5 tree lots later we found the perfect tree....while still negotiating a deal), and figuring out what kind of lights and ornaments to put on it.

We then got together with some friends for dinner and Gingerbread House decorating. Brittany Tanner and I teamed up against Shannon and Brooke... and guess who came out on top? Why the two Brittany's of course :) However, when I came home, one side of the roof had slid off. ...I'm still debating whether or not to hot glue it together.
