Thanksgiving Weekend
Last weekend Derek and I drove down to Southern California and sent Thanksgiving with the Simmons family. All of his brothers and family members flew in for the occasion. It was great to be in Orange County and enjoy some of the things we've missed: the beach, a shopping area that stays open past 9:00 (Irvine Spectrum), Laguna, friends, and of course family. We had a fun-filled weekend of Turkey bowl, Turkey dinners, and helping to decorate for Christmas. On top of the festive weekend, Derek's mom and our sister-in-law Chris threw me a baby shower! I was thrilled at the chance to see some relatives and close girlfriends that I never get to see enough of. Thanks everybody for making it such a fun weekend!
