As Derek would say....you can never start 'em too early!
After a long blogging vacation, we are back with lots of photos and updates. Jack and I had a ton of fun visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Maryland while Derek was off on the other side of the world feeding lions, growing beards, and of course surfing. Jack was loving the attention, the new toys, and the extra space to roam around in. I got to visit some old friends and of course do all of my favorite things. We are still working on getting Derek's Bali pics, so those will be coming up.

While there, Jack learned to sit up all by himself.
...and it didn't take long for his army crawl to become a real crawl....and his crawling to turn into pulling himself up onto anything and everything. Now he can turn all of his wiggly energy and do something with it!
Thanks Mom and Dad for having us. We had so much fun together and can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving!!! ...Jack misses you already!

Fun pictures Britt! Hey, we have tons of pictures that we will have to give to you guys! We went over to Mitch and Lindsey's and they burned them to a CD- should do the same for you! We miss you guys and hope that Carlsbad is treating you good:) When will we get to see you next?! Maybe do dinner this weekend or something?

I am so glad you are back in the blogging world, I have been dying to see updated pictures of little Jack..I mean you are great and everything but lets just be honest we can't get enough of that cute kid. He is so big! Will he be at the wedding in October? Don't you dare try and come without him! Your trip looked so fun and made me miss Maryland like crazy. I will be there in October for a friends wedding, and can't wait. Thanks for the update!
I can't believe Jack is crawling around and pulling himself up on things. It is a whole new world for him and for YOU now! We LOVED having you here and we miss our little snuggle buddy.
I can't believe how big Jack is! I love the picture of him on the surf board:) He looks more and more like Derek as he gets bigger. One cute baby!

Wow, your little Jack is just adorable. It's amazing how fast our children grow. I'm new to the blogging world and love seeing Derek, you, and Jack in your posts. Brittany! Jack has THE BEST SMILE EVER. I am sure you hear that all the time, but really, it is too cute for words. He just looks like such a happy baby and no surprise really-- you are such a great mom! Looks like you had so much fun in Maryland- it is the best to go back there and visit. So glad you guys are doing so well. I love being able to check up on you through your blog. You have such a cute family!
