I had to keep tradition alive and continue our fall party complete with chili, cornbread, and pumpkin carving. Unfortunately, we didn't have a judge this year, so we'll just chalk it up as a 4-way tie....unless you all want to be judge. Whose do you like the best?

Anyways, we had a blast and missed the Tanners who were at the last fall party with us (Jake was sick- hope he's feeling better!) Thanks to everyone for coming and for bringing food!

looks like fun! its too hard to pick the best pumpkin, they're all so good and make me realize how terrible i am at carving pumpkins!! i loved the post about the pumpkin patch! picking off the vine is the best, but be glad youre not in houston texas where there are no pumpkin patches are few and far between! we tried to find one, failed, stooped to buying one at the store except they ran out, no pumpkin for maddox's first halloween! :( cute pics! cant wait to see you this weekend!

I have to say your jack-o-lantern (no pun intended) is quite impressive.
Those are some of the most impressive pump-a-kins! Truly amazing! And your little boy is about the cutest little stud I've ever seen pictures of! When do I get to meet him? Are you going home for Christmas?
